Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 June 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of ufunda's website and bursary application service. By creating an account or purchasing a package, you agree to these terms.
Our service
ufunda helps South African students apply for bursaries by matching you to opportunities and preparing and submitting applications on your behalf across funding bodies such as NSFAS, the SETAs and corporate bursary providers.
Eligibility
You must provide accurate, complete and current information. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit to us, and you authorise us to use that information to apply on your behalf.
Fees and payment
Our service is offered as once-off packages: Basic (R250), Premium (R400) and Complete (R480). Fees are payable upfront and cover the preparation, submission and tracking of your applications according to the package you choose.
No guarantee of funding
ufunda prepares and submits applications professionally, but we do not and cannot guarantee that any bursary will be awarded. Funding decisions are made solely by the bursary providers. Our fee is for the application service, not for a successful outcome.
Your responsibilities
You agree not to provide false information, not to misuse the service, and to respond promptly to reasonable requests for documents or clarification needed to complete your applications.
Refunds
Because the fee covers work we perform on your behalf, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis where we have not yet submitted any application. Contact support@ufunda.co.za to discuss.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ufunda is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the decisions of bursary providers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@ufunda.co.za.
